The European Science Foundation (ESF) is an independent, non-governmental organisation dedicated to pan-European scientific networking and collaboration. It counts 72 Member Organisations, including research funding organisations, research performing organisations, academies and learned societies, in 30 countries.
Based in Brussels, the ESF Conferences Unit oversees the organisational aspects of the European Gender Summit as well as the outreach, partnerships & networking activities.

Portia Ltd UK is a non-governmental organisation that designs, implements and promotes effective strategies for gender equality in Science, Engineering and Technology. As part of its programmes, Portia Ltd runs genSET, a forum for sustainable dialogue and action between science leaders, gender experts, stakeholder scientific institutions, and science strategy decision-makers.
Portia Ltd UK is responsible for the European Gender Summit programme development and scientific content.
