The European Gender Summit was convened jointly by The European Science Foundation and genSET (a Portia Ltd project) with the generous partnership of COST and sponsorship of the Research Council of Norway and Daimler AG. The event was held under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and supported by the European Parliament, specifically, STOA (European Parliament: Science and Technology Options Assessment) and the European Commission, through genSET's FP7 funding.
